Know that your heart is free.  Have the courage to follow it!

The evil forces of residence life did all they could to suppress the rich cultural heritage captured in seanbaker.com.

Yet, on a blustery September day in southwest Michigan, one group of concerned citizens (LCCPPSBDCCC) rose above.  Against all odds, we defeated "the man" and squashed "big brother."

The system will not hold us down!

Today, at 10:56AM EST, John Witte (a.k.a. "The Man") succombed to the outpouring of support from the LCCPPSBDCCC, The League of Concerned Citizens Promoting the Preservation of Sean Baker Dot Com at Calvin College.

No longer will we fear the rampant censorship of the maniacal "The Man" and his cronie, "Bess."

Hey, "The Man," we say to you: "Don't go there!"

Currently Watching
Braveheart

If all goes according to plan, I will be permanently moved into the CRC Legends Center on Mulford Avenue by this weekend.  However, at this time, a far more perilous situation has come to my attention. I must call on all readers, casual or obsessed, to act upon an aggregious violation inflicted upon the Calvin College On-Campus community.

I would like to thank a Mr. David Slager for bringing this tragedy to light.

Our beloved website, along with the popular Sean Baker Anthem, has been blocked.  That's right.  The much-maligned, much intrusive Bess has blocked seanbaker.com

As some of you already know, this problem is now doubly paralyzing.  You see, 1st Shultze has just acquired the second "Sean" student at Calvin College.  More than coincidentally, this students also shares the dignified last name, "Baker."  Now that Calvin College holds TWO Sean Baker's within its enrollment, we must act now to prevent the pure joy and elation caused by our beloved website from being so stealthily censored.

All those who have ever greeted me by singing the name of said website, now is the time!  We must rise up against Big Brother!  No longer will Bess steal away our freedom!  I, for one, will not rest* until this injustice is brought to light and remedied!

Please, contact any and all available Student Life representatives immediately.

*"will not rest" should include qualifier: "will not rest until this injustice is brought to light and remedied or if it is past my bed time."

This is so bad.  I thought I was done with this website.  I thought I would have enough stuff to do around k-zoo that I wouldn't have to waste my time on this guy.

Once again, in Sean's life, he made a horrible miscalculation.

I am bored out of my skull.

I started playing...gulp...video games....

It's bad, folks.  It's bad.

After not playing Madden 64 in about two years, I beat the Green Bay Packers 56-0 in the first game.

It's bad.  So very bad.

OH NO!!!  I realized something.  It is so bad that I just told you guys the score of an imaginary football game....argh.

The drive from Gaithersburg to Kalamazoo is actually a very comfortable nine hours.  Though I tried to leave around one, I was delayed by a really awesome woman in the church who insisted on giving me all sorts of really awesome camping stuff.  So, an hour and a half of going through her garage and basement later, I am now the proud owner of two mummy bags (extra long), two sleeping pads, a backpacking tent, a down winter coat, a fleece vest, a rain coat, two camping stoves, a camping grill, new ice skates, a bag of rope, four containers of fuel, more rope and camping pots and pans.

Hottness.

The trip was uneventful, as it should be, I suppose.  I helped a trucker who's truck overheated.  That was cool.  I was going to give more highlights but I think my earlier discription is sufficient: almost uneventful. One event.  Oh, I ate a couple of pop tarts.  So that was cool too.

So yeah, I am back in Michigan.  Call me.  If you don't know my number, look it up on knightvision.  If you don't go to Calvin, find someone else who knows me or find someone else who goes to Calvin.  If all else fails, you can probably e-mail me.  or, as the stellar pop anthem goes, "So sign on and IM me"

Peace.

Waiting to experience my first tropical storm.  I am pretty stoked.  Unfortunately, if the giant multicolor blob lingering over Virginia/DC does hit us, we will have to count out the eagerly anticipated trip to the Montgomery County Fair.

In other news, I am two church services away from completing the appointed task here in Gaithersburg.  This time tomorrow, I should be somewhere in Ohio, avoiding the ravenous state troopers.

To all my friends and family not in the path of a major storm, enjoy the lame weather.

Peace.
